Imagine how bad it is when the roommate that you were so sure was gonna resign. The lease decides not to on July28 when you’re lease is up August 31. That’s my life right now.

Its 1-2 days of walking through the heat to as many apartments as you can, followed by the most stressful week of your life waiting to get keys, followed by a stressful and hot move in day. It’s actual hell!

No bc it has gotten so much worse in the past few years. My first three apartment (one whole apartment and two rooms in bigger apartments) I found very quickly, no problems, but my current one took six months and now I feel like I can never move. Luckily I don’t want to any time soon but it’s the smallest room I’ve had and far from the subway and I just never should have left my previous one.
