@tashaparkerhair: If you’re struggling to get the lift you want, stop assuming you need a stronger developer. 👀 Better lift often comes down to the basics: smaller sections, proper saturation, fresh lightener + giving the hair enough time to actually work through that underlying pigment. Especially on darker bases, seeing warmth doesn’t mean your lightener isn’t working. Sometimes it just means it isn’t finished yet. And when we talk saturation—lay your brush FLAT. Use the flat surface of your brush to press the lightener into the section. If you’re only painting with the tip of your brush, it’s easy to saturate the surface while missing hair underneath.
