I experienced most of this when I was in a „relationship“ with a FA woman. But the beautiful beginning started to fade at 6 months in. Every heartfelt message was greeted with 7-10 days silence. Even when I replied to her directly. I tried to understand, why this happens, read books, learned about attachment styles. But it couldn’t prevent me from the painful experience of feeling rejected & unloved by her. Just knowing about it doesn’t erase the feelings & the hurt this dynamic leads to. My nervous system was „re-programmed“ through this experience and I had to reach out for professional help. After 7,5 months I had to cut off contact completely for my own protection. But she is still on my mind every day. 💔

I knew he loved me but I have to respect myself and not allow ANYONE to diminish my self-respect and self-worth. I still care about him but I don't have the will and the desire to do the same efforts I have done for him.

this never touched anything in me because when he started doing that i was already detached, and gone emotionally because of how he behaved towards me. so he felt my indifference every time.
