I lived there from 2000 to 2014. We had like 4 hurricanes in that time. They all ended up as flops because the mountains tear it apart. I remember hearing about how, in 2007, hurricane Flossie was powering most of the island with the wind farm at South Point though.

I’m in Fern acres - a subdivision in Mt View - and they’re predicting up to 25” of rain for us. Good times. At least our catchment will be FULL.
