All these people mad “why make something they don’t like” 1. It teaches the kids the difference between hunger and want - if they are hungry enough they will eat and if they don’t eat and want food later they eat the sloppy joe. 2. It teaches them the value of food; not everyone has a meal on the table every night. I promise you making them food once in a while that the parents want and the kids don’t want isn’t gonna hurt them

as a kid, I genuinely hated when my parents made me eat meals i didn't like. When was the last time you forced yourself to eat food you hated? Why force your kids?

Y’all relax, she’d never make something they’re absolutely disgusted by. If they absolutely cannot eat without gagging then she won’t make it. It’s just something they’d prefer not to eat and don’t love. Plus there’s a salad on the side that they like so they’re still eating. Berklie likes it less than Kinley and Hadley and she ate it. They’re fine for one night

adults dont do this to each other. why are we accepting basically force feeding kids? in my home we plan meals with sides everyone likes and the entrée may be different for 1 or 2 people.
