Idk how to feel when I go back to the rig. My driller was the only one keeping me on the rig. He is now going pushing. And my whole crew has changed. I am the only one left on this crew that is original

Spent 10 years at a company that was so well established. Boss was like a friend who’d catch up with us over a bbq every second Saturday to check in with everyone. Was like that for 10 years straight. He got moved to another state to start up another branch. The whole yard become a graveyard due to poor management and we all left.

It does hurt man. The moments the memories the bs the fuckups and the chaos. It’s all worth it but in the end it does hurt. I mean how can you forget the 50-60 year old boss who are like dads and good friends and they are the best men to work around. People don’t understand it does hurt. Seeing the buddy you worked with for so long and than going elsewhere. Hurts cause those are not friends they’re family ❤️
