I was being silly with my 3 year old daughter a couple of weeks ago before bed and said something like “daddy’s silly” and she looked me dead in the eyes and said “no Daddy, you’re perfect”. I am never going to financially recover from that

When I was like 5 my dad used to take me on jobs with him. He’s a contractor. One day he was putting up a fence and fixed something else that was broken at that house while we were there. I said “you can fix anything, I bet if the sky was broken you could fix it” I’m 23 now and he still brings it up 🤣

My dad said when I was little when I wanted a toy I wouldn’t get mad I’d just say “Okay I know we can’t right now daddy but when we have a little bit more money can you buy this for me please?” he said he’d rather I throw a tantrum because then he wouldn’t feel guilty saying no lol

My brother got a promotion to project manager at his job right before Christmas. My neice “bought” his present from dollar tree. Her mom let her pick out anything she wanted. She got him a little wood sign that says “I can do big things”. She explained that it was because he was project manager now 😭
