I served in the military. But no sailor should have to remain at sea for more than 200 days without a port visit or relief. I understand that a carrier of this size can’t simply pull into any port, but that’s exactly why proper rotations and relief forces are necessary. The bigger issue for me is the mission. When you send service members into harm’s way, they deserve a clear, concise objective and a clear understanding of what we’re trying to accomplish. If you know what the actual end goal of this war is, please explain it to me, because I pay attention to these issues closely—and from where I’m sitting, Trump and Hegseth don’t even seem to be on the same page. Our service members deserve better than being left at sea indefinitely while the mission and objectives remain unclear.

Personally I’m ALL FOR patient privacy and confidentiality, so nope don’t agree with their reasoning here.
