the labor comb+ tens machine combo got me through labor unmedicated in 6.5 hours. bub was born an hour after I was 7cm and fully effaced when they checked when we got to hospital. I don't think I would've even had time for an epidural tbh 😭

Wonder if this helps for migraines. I know this is not comparable, but my sister gets severely bad migraines, so I wonder if the pain would ease from the migraine by squeezing the comb basically same concept

3 kids and I’m laughing hysterically at this. No wooden comb is going to make me not think about those contractions. If anything all it’s going to do is make me in a rage that it’s not working 😂 Hats off to you natural birth ladies. But once i realized i was trying to crawl up the head of the bed trying to get out of my body and away from the pain i knew it was time for the epi.

Can you explain to me why doctors put women in a laying down position and not a standing or sitting up position. I feel like gravity helping would make things a lot easier for the mother to be.

But if you wait too long, they might not be able to give it to you. This happened to my friend. The anesthesiologist could not get back to her because he had 3 at the same time.

just gave birth in July. I couldn't get the epidural, they couldn't place it 😭 I got induced too (pitocen contrastions IYKYK 😫), I wanted to die. This actually helped me. I never want to see a comb again but it actually helped me A LOT. highly, highly recommend! Listen to this woman ladies. they even have some with straps so you don't drop it and they are like $5 on Amazon
