Because biblical wealth isn’t about proving you’re blessed, looking successful, or having more than everybody else. It’s about purpose. Can God trust you with more without more becoming your master? Can you build without forgetting the Builder? Can you receive without becoming consumed? Can you multiply without forgetting to give? Scripture says God gives the power to get wealth, but He also warns us not to put our hope in riches. So before asking God for more, maybe ask Him what He’s preparing you for. And if you’re wondering whether wealth is part of your assignment, don’t assume.
