It’s $7.25 but companies here are nice sometimes & will pay you $8-9/hr🙂 if you’re lucky they’ll pay you ✨$11/hr✨ I hate it here in Texas if you live in a big city

It was $7.25 14 years ago when I last had a minimum wage job. It’s not been raised since 2009 when it was raised from $6.55 to $7.25. We follow the federal standard. According to my research, Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North&South Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, Wyoming all follow the minimum set by the federal government. The inflation that’s happened since 2009 is INSANE that the minimum wage has been left where it’s at.
