I knew I was right when I told my daughter to wash, scrub, rinse and repeat! Her grandma be telling her you don’t need to redo it. Once is just fine. Keep in mind grandma is oily & my daughter suffers from dry scalp to dry skin. Of course it’s gonna be a different process.

black folks on tiktok have taught me so much more about how to actually properly clean myself than my white familiar ever could. i know you’re a professional hair educator too, so thank you for talking technique in such detail rather than just saying people are using the wrong products. the more time i spend on this app the more i learn it really is almost always about technique more than anything and you don’t always need expensive products to get the result you want if you actually learn how to correctly use your products
