LA is definitely easier to get the calm slower life but still close to the hustle and bustle. You can drive to Santa Barbara, Laguna, San Diego. California is superior.

LA rents and traffic can’t be any better than Miami. You’re in honeymoon period. You’ll get to the same point in LA although there are a lot of great day trips within California to explore.

Pre covid Miami was elite from someone who moved here in 2012 from another state . In 2014 I paid 2/2 for in coral gables from $1800 😫

I just moved back to Miami from LA and LA died after COVID. Taxes are super high and it’s super dirty. But I still loved it 😂

I feel you, I recently left Miami for the mountains of NC. Miami will always be home but it’s just changed so much. Not affordable, too much congestion and overdevelopment. I wanted a slower pace surrounded by nature. I wish you the best in LA. It’s beautiful there. ❤️
