I wrap because I love it but will never judge when someone doesn’t have time or the desire to. It’s a lot of work. When my mom was sick she did decorative boxes she bought and reused for years before she passed and I saved them all. Now my son will get gifts each year in the boxes my mom bought.

my mom made me play hot n cold one time… like christmas eve i finally put the lights on the small tree we had. ik it’s silly but i had a little hope that santa was actually real bc no way this was rlly christmas, alone and sad. so i hoped there will be presents in the morning and everything will go away. i woke up the next day and there was nothing. it was so empty. wasn’t until like 1pm she came to my room talking abt “we’re gonna play a game called hot n cold 😄” i was actually so crushed and disappointed. i’ve never looked at christmas the same

I personally don’t like that, I like actual wrapped gifts under the tree. I like picking out the paper and accessories and then throwing on a Xmas movie on the eve and wrapping late at night and setting them up under the tree. But I get that it’s just paper and gets destroyed in like 10 minutes the next morning 😂

I love wrapping presents but wrapping Christmas for my three kids stressed me out. I bought Christmas fabric bags and only wrap for birthdays now. Taking note of this method for larger gifts. ✍️
