Ori!!!. I know some of us didn’t know how our ori(creator) is and how good it is to be offering our ori time to time.There is one Yoruba says”Ori ni a ba bọ ki ato bọ orisa”meaning; we are ought to give offering to our ori before any orisa.This indicate our significant our ori is. There is still one saying: Igba ti ori n gbeni kini orisa n wo; when we are in supportive of our ori where is orisa. All these statements try to let us know how is important our ori is and give significant knowledge that before anything we need to put our ori first. Let quickly go to odu ifa Irẹtẹ ogbe to justify this. The ifa goes thus: Atẹgbe awo Àlákisá lodifafun Àlákisá eyi ti won ni ko mọ lori rẹ lọbun mọ ẹbọ lawo ni kose. Atẹgbe was the casted ifa divination for Àlákisá who is in financial problems,He was told to make ẹbọ and most importantly he should be taking care of his ori.He was told his ori was not happy with him and for this reason his ori doesn’t let the blessing come on his way because of the way he is using his ori and because of not giving offering to his ori often and often.Àlákisá was told to start taking care of his ori in the sense that he not be using his ori carry a heavy load,he should not be walking under sun without using cap or something else to protect his ori from sun.Àlákisá compiled with all what Babalawo told him and everything start going well with him. We can now see it in this odu ifa that it’s very compulsory for us to be taking care of our ori,we should not be misused or messing with our ori and we should be offering our ori constantly. May our always be with us and keep open the way of success for us.Asẹ!.
