dissappointed by all the rac1sm in the comments. if u dont like the culture just dont go to ridgeway plaza? all these insane comments abt hygeine etc are crazy. it was the pakistan independance day, this isnt an everyday thing? maybe the city could have hosted a proper venue where ppl were able to gather and celebrate if they dont want folks in ridgeway. ofc ppl can celebrate their different cultures and still be canadian. most of our families immigrated to canada and still kept their heritage; our parents/grandparents etc. at some point were all immigrants, stop hating immigrants of today.
