Of course- her body, her choice. However, I think in years to come this topic will be talked about in a different tone and more-so as an addiction that many people (particularly women) are suffering from. If you’re finding it is affecting your relationship and a lot of conversations are centred around this topic, with no willingness to change, I probably wouldn’t be able to remain friends with this person either. Because in all honesty as a woman it is both triggering and exhausting to constantly have to talk about the way we and others look🙃

I had surgery 8 years ago, within a week I realised how easy it is to become addicted, if you’re not in the right mindset. Fillers and such procedures are easily accessible and don’t cost as much as surgery, so it makes it easy for people to get. It is not normal to talk about it that much and I would definitely have a conversation with her about it and consider therapy
