Was septic in 2019. Had a UTI and a kidney stone that was blocking everything and had to have emergency surgery. Had to stay in MICU for a week. Also had pneumonia and they thought I had a stroke. I knew when my dad walked in it was bad. I hadn’t seen him in 21 years.

My little brother has cancer and he had sepsis last month and I’ve never seen it happen but lord it’s so scary compared to the textbook version description. I’m a peds ICU nurse and he was my first sepsis patient 😭 such a scary time.

this happened to me too 😭 pilonidal cyst while 8 months pregnant. they cut that thing and drained it while I was awake. It made my birth seem easy lmao
