He could have fluid in his lungs from birth still. Maintaining fluids via tube feeding, adding a bit of bicarb in the milk will help get that suckle reflex. Feel free to message for more advice

Start giving him 2.5L morning and night and if possible give him some electrolytes or even a shot of sugar water between feeds to give him and extra boost. I work at a diary and we have many sick calves. I have learnt not to supplement one of thief feeds with electrolytes as they need the nutrition from the milk to stay strong. Hope this helps❤️

I hated tube feeding my potty but it did help. I also always whisk in an egg as a supplement. Hopefully he doesn’t get scours
