Yes this is a very controversial one for when it comes to healthy communicate . I believe instead of saying “let me know if you need something” just do the thing you thought they might need. Instead of making it a suggestion and giving them the weight of reaching out. A example is like if they’re sick bring some soup

If I open up to people again, I'm just going to lose friends. It's happened so many times that I know it's going to happen again and again. I have depression and there are so many people that said something like that and I didn't talk to any of them. the ones I talked to were doses I was close to and comfortable with. my Best friend didn't have to say that I just knew he would be there

in my experience its always better to offer something specific you can do for someone. Or even better offer 2 things. That way the decision doesnt become "do i accept help or not" it becomes "which kind of help do i pick"

I tell people this so much when people act out or seem irrational it's imporant to ask "why" and 9/10 times people under 18 do it cause they need smth to do to not think about other things things like movies tv shows on vc or gaming or watching draw showing interest in an incredible helping way please encourage taking the step for someone who can't you could save a life and never know it xD

i really really try to reach out to a freind of mine who i know isn't as fine as he sais, i know him that good. i just dont know how i csn help him talk with me cause yes he has other friends that he could talk to but there online, i live 15minutes from him.away i know alot about him and his problems, and i jsut dont know how to get to talk cause i also know he doesnt talk to otheres(yes i know that) i just want to help him.but i just dont know how

I think the best approach to someone who needs help, is to comfort them first, I may not be a professional, but it's a helpful way to be trusted by someone whos in need.

I say I’m always here if you need help. As a gesture of showing I care and being there when they need it. Because at the end of the day. You don’t really know what a persons schedule is and I don’t wanna be rude and intrude on whatever important things they are up too. This is just my personal opinion.
