@melthemomcoach: Working mom math really does not add up Drop the kids off at 8:40 but be at work at 8:30. Pick them up at 3:15 but work until 5. Get them to sports by 4:30. Then somehow cover 12 weeks of school breaks with 25 vacation days. And we’re supposed to fit workouts, meal prep, laundry, appointments, and a little “me time” in there too? Busy mom life is basically one giant scheduling conflict. If you’re in this season too, you get it. #WorkingMom #BusyMomLife #MomLife #WorkingMoms
do people literally not think about this stuff before having a kid? 💀

people are mad because you're questioning the system.

The comments aren't it. The system is clearly broken, even if people "make it work" or "have been doing it forever". It shouldn't be like this.

Oh, that’s a totally easy fix. Drop your kids off a little bit early or have them take public transportation then have them do afterschool programs. Problem solved.

Look up Latch key kids… kids in the 1970s and 1980’s that wore their house key on a chain around their necks. They went home to an empty house and were unsupervised until a parent got home from work. When did children become in some of looking after themselves after school?

Do people no longer let their kids ride the bus???? I’m not sure why parents these days feel the need to drive their kids to school.
