Okay, I'm tired of having to explain this. So this is my response to this now, after I say this one more time, it is legal to film on the public sidewalk, they committed battery, a simple shove to get them to back up a little bit will not do anything harm to them. You will be completely fine plus on top of that. It is self-defense because you have no idea if they're gonna attack you again. The moment they swing plus the moment you see them swinging, you have the right to shove them away, cause you have no idea how hard they're gonna hit you or if they're gonna keep attacking you afterwards, also on top of that people need to mind.
