As a Gen X mom of 3 grown sons, Moms need to be more upbeat and excited around their kiddos about the first day of school and your kids will be excited too. Tell them they'll have so much fun, make new friends, etc. If you project your own feelings, they feed off it

My oldest son n I both cried our eyes out when I took him to his 1st day of 1st grade. It was awful. I think both our hearts broke. He’s 36 yrs old now n I’d give anything to go back in time.

I WENT THROUGH THAT WITH MY LITTLE BOY. HE KICKED AND FOUGHT THE TEACHERS IT WENT ON FOR 4 DAYS. I LEFT IN TEARS. IT WAS VERY HARD FOR BOTH OF US
