For all you saying she should've been watched, she was. If she wasn't, the child probably wouldn't be alive. If there's a bowl out there that could potentially kill a child, people should be made aware.

Anything can be dangerous for a baby, accidents happen. Since the bowl is made for babies they shouldnt be able to do anything dangerous with it tho, they couldve made the silicone only at the bottom and not the whole bowl🤷🏻♀️

You’re being too harsh on the mother , everyone turns their backs for a few minutes . Also the child is probably self feeding at this age . The bowl is obviously a problem and shouldn’t be used . Sure you could find a safer option .

I feel like everyone saying "watch your kids" has never been around a kid. These things happen in moments. She could have gotten up to get her more juice and suddenly this happens.

I would have just squeezed it when you pinch it. A certain side will pop up an area will get through and you could braid the seal easily for the suction to let go.

1. Supervise young children while eating. 2. Poke a small air hole towards the top rim of the bowl so suction is less likely.

Yeah, but all you need to do is break the suction. Just stick a finger between the face in the bowl and it’ll release the suction you shouldn’t pull on it.

Yes, there are times busy moms keep cooking, fixing other plates, breastfeeding a newborn, etc. That could inadvertently be a tragic accident.
