For people who do not know current flows from negative to positive, NOT positive to negative like we are taught, this is because electrons are negatively charged being attracted to the positive, this is why it shorts

peugeot 508 you do release the positive side first thats why it has a quick release clamp and the negative is covered and requires a socket.
