my manager had the audacity to make me log all the appointments (whilst I was undergoing cancer investigations) turns out its lupus. I got made redundant last week 😂😂

I’m an SEN teacher. Had a miscarriage and was advised by my line manager, the SENCO, that it was for the best because the Head hated people taking time off work. Got pregnant again and she made such a stinking fuss when I went for antenatal appointments. Despite this being protected by law.

I have had to explain a few times to my American colleagues that we don't actually get to book doctors appointments in the UK anymore (at least where I live) we just sort of have to wait to be told what time to turn up.
