My work coach repeatedly suggested jobs that started at 6am-10am, over an hour away when I said I don’t drive. He said well you can take the bus and I said no, my buses don’t start until 7am but I’ve still got the school run to do first, then the next bus would be 9.30am. I wouldn’t get there until 11am and by then the shift is finished 🙃🤣 stupid stupid people they are.

they signed me up to a group where they would teach you basic life skills like how to get the bus, i have a university degree, id lived in a city for 3 years

They always told me there’s an abundance of driving jobs, I can’t drive, they told me to learn. With what? £310 a month? What about my utilities and bills then?

job coaches hide best jobs for their people it's insane because my m8 had direct tech job from job centre people need to investigate why such coaches and centre are gatekeeping these

Job centre told me I had to go to the armed forces enrollment day. Told her it's a waste of time for us all but told I'd be sanctioned if I didn't. Turned up asked "Do you take people who have a brain aneurysm and history of two haemorrhages?" the guy looked really taken back and said "No, we wouldn't" and I turned to her to make sure she heard it and then went home. Didn't get sanctioned 👍🏼

I got diagnosed with a chronic illness meaning I had to leave my physical labour style job. I do however have accountancy qualifications and have admin experience so good at anything office based etc or finance. Normal working hours as I am a Mum. They offered me overnights doing manual labour in a warehouse :)

They were offering me jobs in a town that was 3 buses away (2 and a half hour journey to get there) which would start at 7am. I was still in college. They didn’t understand why I couldn’t do it until I literally showed them the bus route.
