Ik its illegal in Alabama but idk about other states basically the only thing you can have in Alabama to keep your dogs in your yard is an invisible fence that is not in the ground or a trolly system hooked to the trees

Dogs love being outside, but even if they’re trained, they’re unpredictable sometimes and if you’re a homeowner, it’s a liability if they bite someone you’re opening doors to get sued unfortunately they just have to be chained outside where I live if someone hops my fence in my dog bites them it’s still on me because my dog was not on a leash in my fenced up yard that is private property

I think these are good for energetic dogs that refuse to come inside and want to stay outside but leaving them unintended or not in your sight or outside for hours on end you are a bad owner

The idea of a DOG being outside on a chain is considered “bad ownership” is so STUPID 😂 it’s a damn dog they’re meant to be outside. Owners could be more outdoors than they are inside as well. A dog should NEVER spend more time indoors than outside.

Btw to all the lawyers in comments, it’s not illegal in Alabama. It’s illegal to tie them down to a stationary object with proper food, water and shelter. Tie downs are still legal. Yall just learn a little phrase and run with it without any research.
