@comprehensivechiro: Shoulder stability isn’t just about having a “strong rotator cuff.” The shoulder blade has to provide a stable base for the arm to move from. 💪 These bear shoulder taps are a great way to work on that control. With the knees hovering just off the table, we maintain gentle scapular protraction without excessively rounding the mid-back, then alternate tapping each shoulder. Research supports the importance of scapular-focused exercise for improving shoulder function and pain, particularly when it’s incorporated into a complete rehab program. The goal isn’t to lock the shoulder blade in one “perfect” position—it’s teaching it to stay controlled while the rest of the body moves. Small movement. A lot of control. A great progression toward getting the shoulder comfortable with loading again. #shoulders #rotatorcuff #fyp #chiropractor #rehab
