Agree, but they aren’t doing nothing, being at readiness (launching aircraft, monitoring for defensive actions, etc) for that long must be really stressful.

When I was an infantryman in Ft Ord back in 1988 at the 7th Infantry Division. We trained almost 300 of the 365 days in one calendar year. I remember the low moral the wives threatening to divorce their husbands and the the lack of down time. It was pathetic. Those sailors and marines should not have to work 8 or more months without time to decompress. If your a civilian who's never served, keep your mouth shut. If your a veteran who did serve, try and remember what it was like. Wake the FFF up. This administration doesn't give one FFF about the active duty members of our military.

Another view. Their in the military/Navy. Suck it up. You have water and shelter. There were many before them that been out on ships just as long and longer. Another ship was just was deployed with supplies. You my friend hates war even though your father fought.

Breaking news, they want the soldiers to sign an NDA before they get off those ships which tells you everything you need to know and they’re making them clean up and repaint everything to make it look like what really happened never happened ! My dad was a Vietnam vet. He taught me a lot about wars. He’s passed away and I’m sure he’s rolling in his grave right now. Unbelievable. I’m completely in shock. Trump was just using those troops as expendable ponds in his delusional illegal war and those troops have been tortured but yet they have to sign an NDA to get off the ship. Come on now.
