@melissadaytrades: Trading has a way of finding the beliefs you thought you already dealt with. I’m not good enough. I’m not smart enough. I always mess things up. I can’t make money. I can’t hold onto money. Maybe I’m just not capable of this. Those thoughts did not originate in front of a trading chart. These are not new. Trading just turned up the volume. And THAT is one of the things I’ve come to appreciate about this journey. The market gives me immediate feedback. It puts a magnifying glass on the subconscious patterns, fears, and stories that may have quietly been influencing other areas of my life for years. Once I can see the pattern, I can work with it. Question it. Rewire it. Release what no longer belongs. Integrate the part of me that learned it in the first place. Practice a different response. And that work doesn’t stay at my trading desk. It comes with me into money, business, relationships, confidence, and every other area of my life. So I’m curious… When trading gets hard and you feel frustrated, defeated, or ready to quit, what do you start telling yourself? Pay attention to that sentence.
