I told my bf I didn’t want to hang out because I was exhausted and needed to clean my apartment after work. he said “no problem I can help you clean” I said “I’m good because that’s actually more work for me to dictate how and what to do.” he said “I can see that. How about I put away the dishes and vacuum? I will try not to ask questions about obvious stuff.” It was such a relief to me and immediately diffused my bad day. I felt so supported.
