@ggdc.takht.bhai.m: ** Independence Day Celebration at GGDC Takht Bhai** The Independence Day celebrations were organized at the college under the supervision of Ms. Naseha, Incharge of Co Curricular Activities, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The college premises were beautifully decorated with Pakistani flags, banners, and other decorative items, creating a festive atmosphere. On the night of 13th August, the college was beautifully illuminated with green and white lights, adding to the spirit of Independence Day and creating a vibrant patriotic ambiance. The main Independence Day event was held on 14th August. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a beautiful Naat. The flag-hoisting was performed by the Principal, Ma'am Salma Ferman. This was followed by the National Anthem, presented with great respect and enthusiasm by the staff and students. Students actively participated in the celebrations by delivering patriotic speeches and presenting national songs. Their performances reflected their love for Pakistan and highlighted the importance of independence, unity, and national responsibility. On 14th August, a plantation drive was organized as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Plants of Sukh chain (Pongamia pinnata) China Bakain( Melia azedarach) and Amaltas (Cassia fistula) were planted on the college premises. The Principal, staff members, and students actively participated in the plantation activity, demonstrating their commitment to making the college environment greener and healthier. A special prayer was offered for the safety, peace, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan.
