everything about buddie feels so one sided? the jealousy, the best friend (was eddie ever said it out loud that buck is his best friend? i never seen a single clip he said buck is his best friend), even the worry (buck seems always worry about eddie, but eddie can’t even tell that buck has dependency on drugs right in front of his eyes?). and from the new bts from kenny (buck looks so tired, maybe sleep deprived), i just know eddie wasn’t there helping him with theo. he does it ALONE 😞

9/10 buck is in the wrong when eddie goes off on him like this. the only time I can think of when eddie was slightly out line was in their fight after bobbys death but even then they were both in a bad place. yall gotta stop babying buck though, his character flaws are intentional and very obvious and of course as a result make him a better, more interesting character. to love a character is to know to admit when theyre in the wrong instead of trying to justify their every action.

well, checking for context.... buck bombarded every house viewing which eddie desperately needed, and after eddie kicked him out, he was faced with a petulant man airing his business aka moving plans before he was ready, and now he is short in time because another potential renter shows up any minute and he cannot afford the viewing to crash and burn yet again. id be short tempered, too. this show is so good because the characters ALL are flawed. and of course, Buck never even considered eddie to not choose Christopher first - that is eddie projecting. (I just love buck and eddie the same)

honestly i’m really pissed at all of yall making eddie the bad guy, babying buck, while it’s obvious that eddie cares more about buck than buck cares about eddie.. it’s always about buck, and absolutely never about eddie. eddies emotions in show are not as loud as bucks, but they’re therec and everyone ignores it.

eddie did nothing wrong. you just try to make him try to be the bad guy. if it was the opposite way around and it was buck saying those things everyone would be on bucks side and said he had a valid reason. what Eddie was saying in this video? 100% valid. he was trying to move out to be with his son and buck was ruining it. He needed to hear that. stop trying to baby buck.

I think they both deal with conflict in different ways, Buck uses avoidance until forced to air it and Eddie confronts from head on. I agree Eddie sometimes is harsh in his delivery and says things he later regrets, but doesn't mean his feelings aren't also valid

If you watch this show and somehow come to the conclusion that Eddie doesn’t deeply care about and love Buck, then you have no media literacy at all… Eddie has always cared for Buck, and has always shown it through his actions.

This is a bad example. Eddie is literally right, Buck should have gotten his act together in that instance. This was about Christopher and Buck kinda projected that somehow it meant Eddie didn't care about him. This wasn't About HIM

these comments comparing this scene to grief kitchen scene are crazy when they don't discuss how they're related. Eddie had a right to be upset in this scene, sure but this and the "everything important is in Texas" is the whole reason why buck felt alone during the grief kitchen scene. the fight in the kitchen scene was all about how buck kept checking on everyone else but wasn't relating to them emotionally because everyone had retreated to their individual microcosms/families to get over stuff. hen and chimney have they're people. but buck was cooking and eating meals by himself, watching the others because he felt tasked by what Bobby said about them needing him. Eddie's usual microcosm is usually buck, Chris and sometimes Pepa. Eddie was unsure why buck wasn't coming to him-- as if the whole "everything important is in Texas thing"didn't just happen a few episodes earlier. frustrated Eddie lashes out with how he felt left behind in Texas and Buck doesn't hear that (because that's what Eddie fucking chose, no shit) and instead hears an accusation that he didn't do enough to help Bobby. Eddie tried to connect in this meanest possible way in picking a fight and forcing a reaction and buck is confused because he's been keeping all his stuff to himself because he was just reminded how no one's got time for this emotional baggage.
