My momma would clean the kitchen just minutes after cleaning it. Or to save the health and wellbeing of the family she would go downstairs and start organizing the freezer shelves while at the same time sorting clothes for the next load of laundry.

My son asked me one time whats wrong with you one time when I was mad and cleaning the kitchen, closing my cabinets and mopping my darn floors. I turned around crossed my arms across my chest and leaned against the counter and just stared at him. My daughter however looked at him said nice knowing yah and left the room so fast it almost made my head spin. I almost giggled but I did not instead I made my son do toilet clean up. smart mouth in was not his 1st any more

All my Daddy would say to my mom was “ok honey” “yes baby”. When she said “wait till your Dad gets home”. I’d be please Daddy come home…please come home soon! Mom’s whole face changed like a demon took over!

Luckily I have never had to see that side of my mother towards me but my sisters caught a little hell. But if she knew about some of the things I got into and luckily got myself out. I have been around 47 years and to me she is my favorite person. As long as I didn’t lie to her I was usually ok. I learned that the hard way. Never needed to read the revised version of mammas house

Oh trust me, my daughter found out the only time my Alabama accent comes out is when I’m pissed off or when I’m in pain and she can always tell the difference. There was one time I was in the kitchen and I was just standing there because I was furious, because not even an hour before I walked back into the kitchen. I had just finished cleaning it, and then I walked back in the kitchen and found my daughter and my ex in the kitchen and it looked like a tornado went through it. I just stood there very quietly and stared at them. They both looked at me and asked me if I was OK. I went fine in a real low, deadly neutral voice. My daughter looked at my ex. He was my common-law husband, then and he looked at her, and they both just shook their heads and I could see him mouth the words no she’s not, she’s pissed, and I just stood there didn’t say a word just looking at them, no expression on my face was just standing there looking at them. It was maybe about a minute or two when both of them decided that the kitchen needed to be cleaned and I just stood there and watched while they cleaned the kitchen and when they got done, they were getting ready to walk out of the kitchen and all I had said was hold up in the same neutral voice because I looked at the dishes that they had washed and they didn’t do it right half the dishes they did weren’t even all the way clean so I picked up one of the dishes and looked at them and asked them what’s this in the same scary neutral voice. The next thing I know both of them went running out of the kitchen. My daughter ran to her room. My common-law husband ran to our room and they both slammed the doors so I just stood there for a minute and proceeded to do the dishes all over again when I got done I walked quietly down the hallway went to my common law husband first and I told him go to the kitchen and I said don’t ask why just do it. He got up and walked out of the bedroom and went to the kitchen. I did the same thing to my daughter. When I walked back in the kitchen I had left one of the dishes that they had done, but it wasn’t done right and showed them the ones I did

My momma was the silent type.. Never said anything.. But the house spoke loudly.. Cabinets,doors,windows anything.. And her throwing skills.. She hit the target every time.. I as a second generation southern momma have inherited said skills.. 😂🤣

Fr whole energy in the house change. I remember my mom saying that I wasn't even inside I was mowing the lawn and I felt spirit energy in the house change and spent extra time mowing lol😂😂
