@clemreye: Cologne Cathedral is one of the most spectacular Gothic masterpieces in Europe. Construction began in 1248, but the cathedral took an astonishing 632 years to complete, finally being finished in 1880. Its two immense towers rise to 157 metres, making it the tallest building in the world when it was completed. Inside, the cathedral is filled with centuries of history, including the famous Shrine of the Three Kings, believed to contain the remains of the Three Magi.
