Let’s talk about diaper bags. My first was packed and I never felt I brought enough. Now that I have two, it’s like a Walmart bag with a few diapers and some wipes. Maybe an extra outfit if I’m feeling feisty.

Having a newborn for a first time parent is like being 10 years old but you have to drive your parents car to the grocery store. You have no idea what you’re doing and everything is scary. Having a second is like when you have your license, drive all the time, and all you’re being asked to do is drive to the grocery store

My first was not an easy baby in general, he had tongue tie and CMPA, awake every 2/3 hours for 14 months and only would contact nap. This second baby is an angel, sleeps 5/6 hour stretches, requests to be swaddled and put down for her naps at 2 months old so she can get some peace and quiet away from my velociraptor 2 year old

God pleaseee let this be my experience. Newborn phase from 0 to 1 was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m reallllyyy hoping this next one is different going from 1 to 2 😅
