I’ve been thinking about the prosecution’s motive nonstop because frankly that’s the only interesting part in this case now. And after the last two days of trial, I have some theories. They immediately arrest and charge comatose Lindsey, and there is a media shit storm. They do not secure the crime scene, they do not collect physical evidence appropriately. As they get into their forensics and reports start coming back, they realize that Lindsey is not the correct suspect but because they have done such a poor investigation of physical evidence and the crime scene, they don’t have enough evidence to charge and convict anyone else and this case is national news by this point. So the DA and investigators/ cops work together to suppress evidence that incriminates other people, like Patrick, and exonerates Lindsey because “we didn’t get enough evidence out of the house to convict anyone” is such a bad look. If you notice, Reddington is getting anyone who participated in the cover-up to admit on the stand that they have been promoted since the murders. The DA was not anticipating Lindsey’s parents mounting a $1 million defense.

I don’t even think she mapped anything. I think she looked at the map to make sure she was calling the right cvs and then to get the number and or website menu for the restaurant. I always use maps to call my local pharmacy

I agree. I can’t see what the prosecution strategy is here. They are making it up as they go along. The defense strategy seems pretty clear: the medical people failed her, she was trying to get help, she had a break with reality, she’s broken in mind and body, send her to mental hospital, etc
