Gothenburg and yes its just as you say. People is warm, talking. after 11 years since i moved to Northern sweden, Härnösand and been in Skåne, Stockholm, Jönköping, and many other places i found that Gothenburg was the place my heart and soul found as my home.

Skånska is not like a different language! Especially not when talking about millennials and younger. All the local vocab has completely died out, and acting like you don't understand the dialect when you're a Swede yourself is so overplayed and tiring.

Don’t live in Sweden, but have been taking teams to the Gothia cup for the last 10 years, everyone in Gothenburg is always very friendly!

Skånska isn't its own language, it's a Swedish dialect/accent 😅 It just sounds so different that even some Swedes joke about it. And Malmö is awesome 🇸🇪

I live some year in Stockholm, and Göteborg, you 100% spot on! Im from Kiruna, and again in Kiruna, and we are mentaly like Göteborg, our "twin city"!!

I’m from a small town in Skåne but living in Stockholm, took some time getting used to but every time I go home to visit I make sure to greet every person I meet tho my accent is now fucked, not Stockholmska, but not pure skånska either, more like a gay Dane in the far east😂

I live in a really small village between Motala and Askersund. Only 6 houses and I have 2 of them really nearby mine. I smiled when I read about greeting everyone 🥰 It is so true! I have no idea of who most of them are, or even if they just passing through or actually lives here. Doesn’t matter. If we meet we say ”hej hej” or wave 👋🏼 if it is by car ❤️Love this tradition
