I think what Phaedra was saying was that members of the Black community invested in Pinky and her ventures. And to dismiss bankruptcy as a tool probably has her investors feeling a kind of way.

Phaedra’s right, it’s definitely about the optics. Those investors will be able to deduct the loss, but I’m sure they probably preferred the long term gains. This also will make investors skittish about investing in similar projects in the future.

Phaedra is right! I didn’t hear Pinky once mention how it impacted her investors throughout her entire season talking about bankruptcy. All I heard was her talking about how she was tired, she was impacted, what she lost from her own personal money, concerned about the bloggers… what about BOTH white and black investors. And to say it’s none of your business but that’s ALL you talk about, stop it!!
