@missfernandez__: Wide-leg pants with loafers can absolutely work! For me, style isn't a set of rigid rules about what goes with what. My goal is to give you the highest chance of an outfit win, with the fewest variables to manage. Here's what I mean… With the pant, there's a lot to check: ➕ is it wide-wide or straight-wide (this shifts your proportions) ➕ the fabric ➕ the waistband ➕ the pleats (if it has any) ➕ the details that decide how it sits on you With length, you check one thing. More variables = more room for complexity, whereas with less variables, you can land on an outfit that looks good in less time. So in this case, 🤍Style of pant = 5 variables to check = more room for the outfit to be off. 🤍Length = 1 variable to check = a much shorter path to a win. In short: both can work, length is just the easier place to start.
