I always spray mine with Dawn power wash..fill it up with water and let it soak overnight. It practically rinses clean.

Baking soda + lemon juice (citric acid) → sodium citrate + water + CO₂. You've basically neutralized the acid and the base, reducing the cleaning properties of both. The fizzing may look impressive, but it's mostly just CO₂ being released. Bubbles ≠ cleaning power.
