This happened to me with my bf he was knocking on the glass door while smiling and said “hiii are you gonna let me in?” So I got up and started walking to the door then was like “wtf it’s unlocked and why tf is he asking to be let in?” So I don’t touch the handle, look up, and he’s gone. He wasn’t even home. Nobody was around. He was wearing red. He hates red.

my man and I crossed the country and we had no choice but to pull off on the side of the road and we were right outside the Appalachian Moutains, we knew better to stay in the light. So we parked under a post lamp. Him and I both had the same dream, a man was standing outside our window just watching us sleep, smiling and he was asking us questions. we both woke up at the same time to our dog barking out the window. We left immediately to the nearest rest stop because we were so tired just running off adrenaline at that point. Once we got to the rest stop 4 cops were there it was super lit up so we felt safe..until we walked into the rest stop to use the restrooms and the cops asked if we were okay because one of them drove by us (we have a bright orange car) they seen a man knocking on our window. The cop honked their horn and the guy disappeared. The cop also said he was watching us and followed us to the rest stop. They said we shouldn’t leave until it’s daylight again. We listened and we definitely switched the routine up we drove during the night and slept during the day.

Years ago my ex husband went out with friends for the night, so I watched a movie & went to bed. At 3am I woke up & he was standing beside the bed staring at me. I said "oh you're home- turn the living room light out" and rolled over & went back to sleep. At 6am I was woken up by him closing the front door. I got out of bed & was like where'd u go? he said "I just got home" I was like again? he said this was the only time he'd come home. He was wearing his old Adidas hoodie with holes in the pocket, same thing whoever that was had been wearing at 3am. We never figured it out & it still creeps me out 20+ yrs later.

idk if you could call it a doppelganger but a few years back my aunt called me around 11 or 12 at night and asked if I had just called them. I let out a scoff that was mixed with a small laugh and was like "you called me, I was about to go to bed right now." She asked me again and my other aunt was like "Please be so for real, did you not call her?" I was confused and responded no, my smile completely gone and then they told me "Rosie, you just called me and laughed into the phone. it was your laugh." I swear I wanted to cry. Both of them confirmed they heard the same thing. They said that they heard me say hello twice before I burst into laughter. I told them that it couldn't have been me because I was sharing a room with my brother at the time and he even said I was just scrolling on my phone, silently.

One time while in my room laying down with my babies, I opened my bedroom door to let my dogs out, I went to the top of stairs which is right outside my room and yelled downstairs at my husband calling his name and he said what. So I told him to let them outside and he said ok. I could also hear him from my dining area but because there’s a wall in view I didn’t see him. Anyways I laid back down but left my bedroom door open, I waited but didn’t hear him open the outside door and by now my dogs were barking. I got annoyed and didn’t want them waking my babies so I walked to the top of my stairs and again yelled at him to let them out. That’s when my husband walked in the front door. He had just got home in that moment. The whole time I thought he was there and I heard his voice talking back.

When I had just turned 18 my mom let my ex boyfriend stay the night at our house. Usually he’d sleep on the couch but since I was 18 I told him to just sleep in my bed with me. I woke up to my mom yelling at us but her mouth wasn’t moving. I wasn’t really comprehending what was happening but her hair was down and looked wet, she had messy mascara, and was wearing a long t shirt. A blanket was thrown at my ex and I so I thought she was telling him to go sleep on the couch. He got up and left the room and I started to kinda wake up and process what was happening. I realized that I didn’t wake up to my door opening and it’s jammed so I should’ve cuz of how loud it is. My mom’s bedroom door was also closed like she never came out. I asked her the next morning if she came in my room and she said no. She also went to sleep with no makeup and her hair in a ponytail. This was right after my ex told me he saw something on the ceiling crawl into my room
