Everyone is blaming the mom for Vanessa always taking the majority of the food but it should be the dad who puts his foot down. Vanessa is not her bio child and I sure she doesn't want to stir up problems with the girls mother hence why she always gives in to her demands. You can see the mom always pauses and looks around after V asks for more and more maybe its in hopes her dad will finally speak up. Just my 2 cents no one asked for.
