@andersonacres14: How long would you survive on that ramen and mac n cheese in your pantry? Go watch The Last House and get back to me. #netflixpartner
I stock up on the 3 B's....bullets, band-aids, and beans.....oversimplification, but basically my family and I can survive bugged in for a decade. We can bug out to several back up locations with approximately half those stores at each location.

we just watched that as well! we did the very same, went thru our canned and dried items.. we would need to purchase some manual items that dont require electricity but we would be good! genius growing between floorboards!

Eastern European here, we also preserve meat by canning it at home, salt baths etc. My grandmother used to keep fresh carrots, potatoes and apples dug about 1m into a cold ground because thats what she learned during war. I used to help her dig it out, wash it and prep it for dinners. Keep in mind our winters are between -10 to -25 at times. You’re doing an amazing job ♥️

I hated the ended. It became really dumb. But I loved the first half or So. But I agree with you. And had a lady in here say she was a chef that did training classes on canning and essentially not worth the time or money. 😳 It is a time investment and some start up cost that saves so much time down the road
