@ty.prompts.ai: The viral part of an AI video is not the footage, it is the edit, and that is the part you can now hand to an agent. These 5 repos do it from a prompt, they are the same job you pay Opus Clip, Descript and Premiere Pro for, except free and running on your own machine. HyperFrames is the wild one because HeyGen open-sourced it: you describe the video, your coding agent writes the HTML, and it renders a real MP4, with 41k stars behind it. video-use is the Descript killer from the browser-use team. You drop raw footage in a folder, tell Claude Code to edit it, and it cuts the umms and the dead space, color grades every segment, and burns the 2 word uppercase captions you see on every viral clip. Palmier Pro is a real Mac editor whose own README says the north star is Premiere Pro, and it runs an MCP server so your agent edits the same timeline you are looking at. AutoClip takes a YouTube link and finds the highlights for you, which is the whole Opus Clip pitch. And FireRed-OpenStoryline has the trick nobody talks about: save a finished edit as a reusable Skill, swap the footage, and every new video comes out in the format that already worked. Save this and go star your favorite. Repos: 1. HyperFrames - github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes 2. video-use - github.com/browser-use/video-use 3. Palmier Pro - github.com/palmier-io/palmier-pro 4.
