Before smart phones and social media, the majority of people read books in public, all the time! On the commute to and from work. During a lunch break. Waiting for the train. They were the good days

Omg. When they say “what ya reading??” That’s why I read on my phone now. Nobody says “what are you doing on your phone?” It’s NOT performative!!! Everyone-please-leave the book people alone!!!
