For testimony, it's actually even worse: in financial cases, 2 women = 1 man. But in most other classical legal contexts, women's testimony is not accepted AT ALL, except in matters specific to women, such as breastfeeding. Why don't you mention that?

هناك اربع حالات فقط ياخذ فيها الرجل ضعف المراه وهناك 30 حاله ياخذ فيها الرجل مثل المراه تماما وهناك 10 حالات تاخذ فيها المراه اكثر من الرجل بكثير اكثر من الضعف وهناك حالات تأخذ فيها المرأة ولا ياخذ الرجل شيئا ولكنهم يذكرون هذه الاربع حالات فقط

In Islam women who gets married the financial needs are provided by her husband such as housing, clothing, food, etc. She doesn’t have to pay for any of these. She is also entitled to her mehr. Additionally she gets half inheritance from her father plus 1/8 from her husband’s which makes it whole. In fact she is better off that way — imagine she was paying half rent, food and everything for the rest of your life as is customary in the West. Islam protects women in ways more than one can comprehend

it is easy bc her money is her money and his money is his + her money .in islam woman have not to pay bills or spend money on her fmily but the man has to so when you have 150 $ she has 50 but his 100 he has to spend it on himself his wife and his kids

I agree that one verse shouldn't be enough to judge the whole religion. But I still don't think the explanation really answers the problem. If the reason for the rule was that men generally knew more about financial matters at the time, then why make it a gender rule instead of basing it on actual knowledge or experience? Someone like Khadijah is a good example because she was a businesswoman, so she could have known way more about finance than some random man, but the rule would still treat them differently. And with Aisha and the childbirth example, I get the point that women weren't just seen as inferior in every situation. But I don't think those examples really prove that the financial rule itself was fair. In childbirth, obviously a woman would have knowledge that a man probably wouldn't, and Aisha being a respected scholar shows that women could be very knowledgeable. But neither really answers why gender should determine the number of witnesses in a financial situation
