i just saw someones video and they were almost crying cause they were lost and frustrated trying to figure out the trains from the airport and they couldn’t figure out how to get out of train station once they got to shibuya lol i’m going in november and now im freaking out 😭 im not used to taking trains at all

Agreed with the yamanote line especially when the subway system in Tokyo is already very reliable and fast it’s not necessary to be near one

stay near any station that connects to one of yamanote stations, yes you will spend 400¥ daily to connect to yamanote but you will not pay $100+ for a hotel near yamanote

I line the Chuo Sobu line the most tbh. It not only connects Koenji, Nakano, Akihabara, and even Chiba for a possible day trip. It also connects to the Shinjuku station on the same platform as the Yamanote line, so you don't have to search for it, which is quite useful for beginners and to save time.
