Although I disagree w what drew said and how she’s handling it, I still fully love and support the lgbtq+ community. It is so unfair for people to shift the blame to trans women when they took no part in it.

I haven’t seen any hate on trans women on my side personally, the hate I’ve seen has been going towards what was said and there wasn’t an apology after, and instead the people going after drew are getting called terfs and transphobic for being upset for no apology.

I'm so confused because I feel like Drew said nothing wrong. My understanding of the controversy is that someone said that trans women can have a beautiful understanding of womanhood, and Drew said she agreed? How is that a bad thing? 😭 Obviously it shouldn't be a competition, but womanhood is not a one-size-fits-all thing; everyone experiences it differently, including cis women, so I think trans people aren't any different when it comes to that, even if they might have a different experience People wanna be transphobic for no reason 😭🙏🏻 Leave the dolls ALONE

I 1000% believe trans women are women and support any initiative to promote trans rights and visibility. Never for a second my discontent was geared towards trans women but towards the comments she made and how suddenly anyone who said “hey actually I don’t think this is statement that’s worded correctly and it’s a discourse that can cause unnecessary divisions” then that person was trans phobic according to her… I will always love and support the dolls ♥️P.S: love your makeup!

Cis woman here, and I’m so disappointed in the comments/videos I’ve been seeing today. This whole thing has just become a way for ignorance to run rampant, and I’m so sorry :( it’s incredibly unfair that it’s turned into this when it wasn’t even a trans woman who made those statements in the first place, but now have to take the brunt. I hated the SA comment ER made, but in no way should that be a reason to go after the trans community.

I’m nonbinary/agender so take my opinion with a grain of salt but this whole “who experience womanhood who had better debate” is silly to me because every women womanhood is different than the next one and they’re all special and instead of focusing on the people who actually said it people are being transphobic and going after trans women for saying something they didn’t say? The comments I seen are not being asked in good faith (I know there people asked questions in good fate but I sadly haven’t seen any) and instead of the people who said it actually just address what they mean and apologize for any confusion. They kinda just let it went on for a while and let trans women get quite literally beat up in common sections for no reason 😭

THIS was my issue i DO know trans women are women! they truly didn’t seem to spare a thought for the fact it’s an extremely divided unstable fear mongered environment anyway (or at least it is for some radical hateful people and is encouraged by the news/social media etc) which should be handled in a controlled thoughtful manner, they instead blundered into like bulls in a china shop with no thought (from what i saw) given to language used or nuance encouraged with NO platform given to trans women to speak for themselves and provide ACTUAL LIVED EXPERIENCE and they’re now making it even worse by burning the bridge of unity between all women through calling anyone worried about their clumsiness a terf thus grouping anyone who disagrees in any way even with just the carelessness and lack of awareness shown and transphobic radicals and fuelling radicalism, idk if i’ve explained this in the best way as it’s been such a clusterfck and i can’t even imagine how isolated this and the entire “debate” (ffs it’s someone’s existence not a debate but ykwim) has been 😬
